Find these challenges posted on our Children's Ministries Facebook Page and comment when you've got them memorized!

Bible Memory Challenge #4:

Romans 5:3-4, "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope…"

Discussion Questions:

  1. What is suffering?
  2. How have you, your family, or someone you know suffered?
  3. What is endurance?
  4. What is character?
  5. What is hope?
  6. In what do we place our hope?

Bible Memory Challenge #3: 

John 11:25-26, "25 Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?'"

Here are some discussion questions to help guide you:

  1. What is resurrection?
  2. How does this go with our other memory verse, John 3:16
  3. Will a Christian’s body die?
  4. What is a soul?
  5. Do you believe?

As a family, discuss these questions, memorize the verse, and try to apply it!

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

First, talk about this Scripture passage:

  • What does perish mean?
  • What does eternal life mean?
  • Who is the one doing the work to save man, God or people?
  • Why did God send Jesus?

Then, as a family, memorize it and try to apply it!

  • What does "dwell" mean?
  • What does "unity" mean?
  • Why is dwelling in unity good and pleasant?
