ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are offered for our neighbors who are learning English on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This is a tangible way to be the hands and feet of the gospel for the nations that God has brought to our community. A heart to serve God and fluency in English are the most important abilities. It is also a non-intimidating way to meet and get to know people who have come from very far and who have known danger and hardship. You may find many who, like you, love their family and are grateful for a safe place to live and raise their children.
We need people who will help with:
- Teaching
- Childcare
- Rides
- Care for particular families
- Handle registration and other details
- Intercessory prayer
