Westminster Confession

Links to the Confession and Catechisms:

The Confession, written in 1646, is a doctrinal document that outlines and organizes the truths found in scripture into theological categories. It is a wonderful gift that has been passed down for several centuries and has been a benefit in helping the Church stay rooted and grounded to the core biblical doctrines.

The First General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America, meeting at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Birmingham, Alabama, December 4-7, 1973, adopted the Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism and the Shorter Catechism as the doctrinal standards of the Church.
