As the foundation of all we believe and all we do, women meet regularly to study God’s word for spiritual growth and fellowship. “Do you best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

In View of God’s Mercy by Courtney Doctor
In this study, we will discover how God’s mercy and grace transforms our present reality and eternal future. Each week we will spend some time getting to know each other, watching a short video, and discussing as a group.
The book also has five daily studies per week that go along with each lesson. These take about 20 -30 minutes to complete. We would encourage you to consider those, but to still come if you’re unable to complete them all. The cost of the book is $22. There is no childcare. Better: A Study of Hebrews by Jen Wilkin.
This study is a verse by verse exploration of how God provided something better than the old covenant, in the person of Jesus Christ. We will study how the new covenant fulfills every promise, strengthens our faith and gives us hope; in Christ alone. This study will meet in Cindy Kewley’s home in Harrisonburg. Blessed: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Revelation (Part 2 – Rev 4-22) by Nancy Gutherie
This study explores Revelations’s call to patient endurance as God’s sovereign plans for judgment and salvation are worked out. Guthrie shows how Revelation is less about when Jesus will return and more about who we are to be, what we are to do, and what we can expect to endure as we wait for Jesus to return to establish his kingdom in the new creation. Join us as we walk through each verse in Psalm 23, thoroughly examining its 3 depictions of the believer’s union with Christ as sheep and shepherd, traveler and companion, and guest and host. Gibson provides canonical context for the Psalm’s beautiful imagery, inspiring praise and wonder as readers reflect on the loving Shepherd who meets every need. We will be exploring what the Bible says about our identity and calling as true women of God. Together, we will be looking at the lives of real women who serve as examples of what it means to reflect God in every season of life, and how, in the words of the author, “our redemptive calling transcend age, life-season, marital status, ethnicity, culture, time, and place in history.” The cost for the book is $10.
